Konecranes is a known supplier of STS (Ship to Shore) Cranes, with world leading technology in container handling. Business Line STS is responsible for STS crane deliveries with profit & loss responsibility of entire STS business. We offer and deliver STS cranes to our customers around the world and work in close cooperation with Port Cranes functions (Sales, PMO, Technology and Supply) to fulfil our customers’ expectations on-time & on budget.
Chief Electrical Engineer is responsible for managing electrical design of STS cranes in delivery projects. Chief Electrical Engineer runs the engineering meetings, makes technical decisions as well as manages resources, budget and schedule.
Main responsibilities of the Chief Electrical Engineer are:
Manage the delivery project design and engineering resources
Manage design budget
Coordinate the delivery project with other stakeholders in the project team according to the project requirements
Support sales in STS crane offering and sales cases
Lead electrical/automation related product management and development tasks in cooperation with Product Manager

We hope you have:
Master’s or bachelor’s degree from the area of electrical engineering
Experience on electrical engineering and engineering management
Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations associated to electrical engineering and control systems
Good leadership and problem-solving skills
Target oriented mindset and strong can-do attitude
Fluent English skills (other languages are considered as an asset)
Willingness to travel (20-30 days annually)
